San Antonio, Texas, April 2, 2007 - To keep family and friends connected at a low rate, complete with competitive savings and even more value, AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) today announced a new calling plan for calls made to Mexico.

The AT&T Mexico Value CallingSM plans, available to new and existing AT&T residential wireline customers in Southern California, allow callers to choose from plans offering 100 minutes or more for only $5 a month — or just five cents per minute — for all direct-dialed calls to Mexico. Eligible customers must also subscribe to a domestic long distance plan from AT&T.

“For AT&T, Mexico is the most called country in California. This plan provides our customers in Southern California with an easy, simple-to-understand calling plan that delivers a competitive price of virtually unmatched value,” said Anthony Tuggle, vice president, AT&T Consumer. “Our focus is on listening and understanding the needs and demands of today’s callers — and on answering these needs with strong, valuable offers.”

AT&T Long Distance customers who subscribe to the Mexico Value Calling 100 plan also receive guaranteed low, competitive per-minute rates for calls made to other countries. For example:

  • Brazil $0.15
  • Argentina $0.17
  • Peru $0.22
  • Costa Rica $0.27
  • Chile $0.19
  • Panama $0.35
  • Ecuador $0.32
  • Colombia $0.17
