FoneLink allows easy integration of mobile phones in Mac OS X

Published: Jun 3rd, 2007 | Author: Roman

Berlin — Up to now, using a mobile phone with Mac OS X has one major disadvantage. It is close to impossible to manage the mobile phone’s data from your operating system of choice. The Berlin-based software developer nova media unveiled a new software called “FoneLink” to change this lack of Mac OS software support for mobile phones.

FoneLink is a mobile phone suite that allows to browse through the files of a mobile phone, to transfer and convert music, fotos and videos as well as to copy contacts, events and tasks, edit notes and bookmarks. A built-in ringtone editor allows to create individual ringtones from any compatible music file. Finally FoneLink manages to backup the mobile phone’s data and to restore single files or a comprehensive backup.
