Hop-on has announced that its GSM cell phone HOP1811 will be launched for U.S. carriers. HOP1811 supports dual-band 850/1900MHz, or 900/1800MHz with AMR for Europe and Asia, and with Li-lon 550 mAh battery it provides 5 hours of talk time, and 150 hours of standby. This low-cost handset can also carry a MP3 player with an excellent audio quality.

Company will launch this phone for $13.99 with a Graffiti Wireless Airtime Plan in the U.S. market. According to company, the Apple’s iPhone 3G is complicated and an expensive device, and the HOP1811 is able to make calls much faster. Of course, iPhone is much expensive but for me looks better and provides great multimedia experience.
