HTC Touch Diamond and Touch Pro are ready for Sprint’s customers
Those people who were waiting for these handsets don’t must anymore. Touch Diamond and Touch Pro by HTC will be available this month and in October. Both are running Windows Mobile 6.1 and work in the largest mobile broadband network in the US. We have already introduced these smartphones more times but we can remember their basic specifications: both include TouchFLO 3D user interface, weather, email, photos, contacts, and music features.
The Touch Diamond has a big 2.8″ VGA display with high resolution, 3.2 megapixel camera with camcorder, and stereo Bluetooth. Sprint will start to sell it this month for $249.99 with a two-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
Slide-out Touch Pro sports QWERTY keyboard, microSD card slot, 3.2 megapixel camera with a business card scanner application. Users also may use the Microsoft’s System Center Mobile Device Manager to have access to security and device management capabilities. The Touch Pro will be launched on October 19 for $299.99 with a two-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
