Korean Inkel has revealed its wireless based phone, the WPI-8000, supporting SIP Protocol and IEEE 802.11 b/g standard. The handset also supports VoIP calling and SMS sending/receiving with built-in SoC (System On Chip).

Other features include a 1.8″ 65k color TFT LCD display, and phone memory for up to 500 contacts and 100 text messages. Together with Inkel, LG Dacom will sell this new phone in a black & white design, though we don’t know its price yet.
