Who was waiting for a platform which allows user to access internet, TV and mobile phone, that’s over. KDDI, Motorola and Opera joined forces and created a device which will bring you this all. But, of course if you are a KDDI’s subscriber.

au BOX by Motorola is able to browse web thanks to Opera Devices 9 SDK on the TV as well as on mobile devices including phones. You may now for example: create and personalize own music and video libraries, transfer multimedia content between the box and your mobile devices.

The box features a CD player with ripping, USB connector, and stereo speakers. It’s also able to play DVD mediums. The platform has KreaTV service supporting MPEG-2 SD to H.264 HD, DVR, and hybrid formats. KDDI will launch this device on November 1st, but we still don’t know the price.
