KDDI and HTC to bring HTC E30HT to Japan

We know that HTC is already making waves in Japan launching handsets on DoCoMo and Softbank and many other medium size companies, but this time HTC has planned another collaboration with KDDI. For more aggressive plans HTC has announced a deal with KDDI one of the Japanese largest telecommunications companies, to sell HTC handsets across Japan. This collaboration is an attempt to offer more 3G products to customers.

The two companies, KDDI and Okinawa Cellular Phone, announced that they would be unveil the first model, the E30HT smartphone, from September 28th to October 4th at CEATEC. Commercial sales of the E30HT will begin in the spring of next year. E30HT mobile will come with Windows Mobile smartphone functionality, which is based on the HTC Touch Pro (just like HTC Raphael). There have not been much detais about the agreement with HTC nor how much it would sell the E30HT for.
