Kyocera launched E3500 a GSM/GPRS capable phone in Puerto Rico

Kyocera Wireless known most for offering modest phone devices has announced its first GSM phone E3500 which seems like strategic jump in GSM markets that aims to capture a handfull of GSM customers. The phone will be available in Latin America, where a number of CDMA service providers has recently switched to GSM networks. This actually will kick start the sales in north American region for solid market for its growth.

E3500 is a quad-band phone which give talk time of eight hours with 500 hours of standby. Kyocera which had a repution of making phones for just voice functionality has really stepped in for designing high end phones like E3500 which has few very good features relates to music and camera. E3500 supports music with MP3 and video record/playback. E3500 has dual color displays, with a 1.3-megapixel camera, expandable memory and Bluetooth. The handset also includes Internet WAP 2.0, USB and microUSB, Bluetooth 1.2, Stereo Bluetooth, and HeadSet Jack (2.5mm).
