LG Dare (LG-VX9700), the last phone from LG, has been already launched on July 3 in Verizon Wireless stores. For those who still consider to buy this phone I add some extra live pics and basic specifications. The Dare is equiped 3.2 Megapixel Camera certified by Schneider-Kreuznach lens, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. This phone offers up to 280 minutes talk time and up to 360 hours standby time. You can save up to 8GB on microSD memory card. Its user interface is fully 3D touch Drag & Drop type which promises easy access to all aplications and writing messages by converting the display to QWERTY keyboard. The LG Dare is available for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Nice phone but they forgot one BASIC thing: You CAN’T sync up your Calendar. I’m returning mine already!!!!!!
You can sync Outlook (contacts / calendar) with LG Dare using BitPim (http://bitpim.org). Check out the help section for details. Make sure you use the latest version (1.06) and use the LG VX-9100 profile.
Just replaced my Treo 700 for the LG Dare– good choice. I find the LG Dare very user friendly. My only disappointment thus far is the inability to add addresses or other information in Contacts. Does anyone know of software or other means to address this problem? Thanks
See Barts comment above. Bitpim works great with this phone. I have been using for a couple of weeks and no problems. I have not synced with outlook yet, but I have on my other phone and I see no reason why it should not perform the same way.
