Live photos of the T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream) phone
The first Android-powered phone made in collaboration with Google has a touchscreen similar to iPhone’s. Michael Oryl from MobileBurn who has spent a time with this “newbie” describes a good experience with the touchscreen and the trackball controller as well as with the QWERTY keyboard.
According to Michael’s words, the build quality is good, sliding is sturdy and the dedicated keys are easy to use. The user interface with Android OS is quick which doesn’t need too strong touches. The browser on this handset is also impressive. Rendering of big web sites is its priority but the zooming is a little bit worse. In overall, if you get your hands on this phone you can’t make a mistake.
