Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync available for all Nokia 60 3rd Edition devices

The Nokia and Microsoft collaboration to bring corporate mobile email to mobile have came out as big step. Nokia has announced that the expanding its device range enabling all Nokia S60 3rd Edition devices with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. This means 43 Nokia devices will be upgraded to feature the Mail for Exchange mobile email application. The new Mail for Exchange will be available out-of-the-box in future releases of Nokia E series and Nokia N series devices.

This announcement will enable about 80 million S60 3rd Edition customers to realize the benefits of Exchange Server. With Exchange Server 2007 one can easily set Out of Office message directly from their mobile phone, as well as a host of other benefits such as email flags for follow up, downloading, editing and uploading attachments, and also setting email priorities.
