Published: Oct 22nd, 2008 | Author: Roman

Do you remember the famous episodes of Star Trek? I ask because when I have seen this handset I got the feeling as it came from the space. Anyway, the AURA phone by Motorola is the world’s first phone with circular display and looks interesting.

The designers of this phone were inspired by a luxury watches and integrated Swiss-made main bearing and more than 200 parts. The AURA has 1.55 inches 16 million color circular liquid-crystal display, 2 megapixel camera with fixed focus, 2GB of memory, Stereo Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP, and USB 2.0.

Capped with 62-carat sapphire crystal lens, supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900, EDGE Class 12, GPRS Class 12 and provides 7.3 hours of talk and 400 hours of standby time. The handset should be available in Q4 2008. Pricing has not been announced yet.
