Motorola to introduce the Rapture VU30 and MOTO VU204 clamshell phones for Verizon Wireless

Motorola today introduced its two new clamshell handsets exclusively for Verizon Wireless network, the Rapture VU30 and MOTO VU204. The Rapture VU30 is a stylish phone which has a 2.2 inches 262k TFT internal screen with 240×320 pixel resolution and a 1.6” 120×160 CLI external one. It’s Bluetooth and USB 2.0 capable as well as able to expand memory with microSD card up to 8GB.

The VU30 also features a 2 megapixel camera with a video capturing. In CDMA 800/1900, CDMA Ev-Do the VU30 provides 270 min of talk time and 470 hours of standby. This handset will be available on October 14 for $129.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new 2-year contract.

The second model by Motorola, the MOTO VU204 is another clamshell device with a dedicated camera keys for a quick access. The VU204 sports 1.8 inches 65k TFT display and a 1.05 inches 65K CSTN CLI one. Same like the previous model, this one works in CDMA 800/1900, CDMA Ev-Do and provides 238 min of talk time and 447 hours of standby.

For special moments you may use a VGA camera with 4x digital zoom and for storage 64 MB ROM/64 MB RAM. For connection it has Bluetooth 1.2 and micro USB port. The MOTO VU204 will be also available on October 14 but for price for $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new 2-year customer agreement.
