Dear Sirs,
One month ago I purchased headphone SAMSUMG, model YA-BH270.
Now I feel frustrated as I do not know how to put it right again. It seems that was totally out of electricity, and I plug it with the USB in my Notebook, but did not see the red light which is transformed into blue.
I have tried also with a clip to set again pressing the bottom which is located below. I have done this with a clip and still do not work. I have plugged again to charge it though the USB of my Notebook and no lights can be obtained.
What can I do?
Please your news would be highly appreciated.

Hey James,
You might try to charge your headset by a samsung usb charger.
It seems that the battery of your gadget is badly depleted and needs stronger electric current to bring it back. Usually, the notebook usb port is not as strong as a normal charger, plugging directly to the socket, output capacity 5V 1A.
Just have a go and see how things are going.
Good luck!
George

Hey Jaime,
First, sorry for typing your name wrong last time.
In the user manual, it says the indicator turns red when charging; blue when charged.
Also, it claims that the headset will be fully charged in about 2 hours through PC usb port, however, i found it could be a bit longer than that when charging by a usb charger.
It seems your USB cable should be OK since the light turned red before, which means it starts to charge the headset.

Dear George,
I followed your advices and no result up to now. It seems that the phones are not charging. I have been pressing the buttom to reestart the function and nothing as well. My problem is tht I went to Samsung Chile and the answer receive here was that it is not a product that they are bringing to this market and therefore they do not give proper support.
What can I do??

Dear George,
I still have same problem. It is a pity as It seems to me that it is only block, but how can unblock?

Hey Jaime,
The official name of the ‘usb charger’ aforementioned is USB Power Adapter, Model type: YA-AD200.
Unfortunately, it might not be available in all markets. I did check samsung’s website in Chile in vain by guessing Spanish words.
So the way I could imagine is to find independent importer/vendor for that adapter in your place or to go to some popular e-Business websites like eBay as long as they can make the delivery to you.
It might be a confusion since I didn’t make it clear about what sort of gadget I am using to charge my headset on last comments. As I still believe your issue can be sorted out by the adapter.
If the adapter cannot work out your headset, then hopefully, you are able to return the headset to where it is from while its warranty is still effective.
Good luck!
George

I’m the happy owner of one of this headseats, and when the battery is fully empty, my laptop needs about 5 to 6 hours to charge the battery and get the blue light. Using the desktop usb to charge the battery takes only less than 4 hours to get it to the maximum load of battery.
May this tip be usefull for you.

Me too having problem finding the compatibilty of this bluetooth headset. Samsung must tell or put also compatibility of each bluetooth headset on their website. Tried it on my N82 Nokia it won’t connect not even recognized.

Another thing I experienced here is be very careful of taking it off the package. This headset I guess has its rechargable battery on the rigth piece. If you pull it hard or abrupt, you may accidentally loose connectivity on wire. It so fine if you pull it sure this will cause no charging. What I experienced was loosing the sound on the right piece.
