The Z780, a sister product to the recently announced Z770, is set to broaden the range of web-enabled phones into more markets across the globe. It packs tri-band 3G and HSDPA into its stylish clamshell frame, letting you receive email or browse the web at high speed in countries across the world. It also introduces built-in aGPS, giving users the opportunity to carry their navigation solution with them on their phone.

In my own opinion, this phone is really good. It will come with a cheaper price (maybe less than US$300). And it’s quite a tall phone, taller in size than the K850. This is a web phone so all the connectivity options are here, except of course Wi-Fi. I like the design, and I feel more comfortable when the fast port is at the bottom, unlike SE’s newer releases.
I don’t need a videocall cam. I don’t need a 5MP cam either as I have already a 7MP digicam.
I just hope it’s video playback is good. No more pixelations, on time audio-video synching, etc.
i think g502 is out in in the store

The pictures released by SonyEricsson show this phone as white with purple/black trim but in the video it’s silver, not white as I had expected. Are all versions of the z780 mostly silver in appearance?
