Nokia launches the N85 and N79 today in UK
Nokia is good in bringing upgraded versions of phone for previously failed handsets which aims to provide better prices its good specifications. Nokia is all set to launch its long rumoured mobile phones N85 and N79 in the UK today. Both phones have been launched as upgraded phones, N79 and N85 are upgraded model for N78 and N81. Equipped with Symbian OS both phones will offer 5 megapixel camera with auto focus feature, FM transmitter, and GPS.
Nokia’s N85 is known to be N81 successor with upgraded features and N-Gage friendly phone which will support with 10 demo titles. It has OLED screen with FM transmitter, a 8GB microSDHC which can be extended to 16GB, the N85 camera has been upgraded to five mega pixels and includes GPS navigation feature. It also has an AMOLED 2.6 inch screen which means rich colour screen. The interesting thing is that N85 can run about 28 hours of music with just one charge.
Nokia N79 a candybar smartphone will be a successor to the N78, with a fashionable style it will offer replaceable back covers and will be very similar to the N85. N79 will have a dual-LED flash to its 5.0 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. N79 will be a 3G phone equipped with built-in GPS, Wi-Fi and a 8GB microSD card instead of making it available as internal memory.
Although both phones have exciting new feature which makes them much better to buy them than their previous models and every one would like to know the price difference. The N79 will be sold for EUR 350. Price of the N85 model was not announced. Both handsets will be available in Q3 of 2008.
