OtterBox has released semi-rugged protection which is made from 3 slim layers including polycarbonate membrane, hi-impact polycarbonate shell and a silicone skin. This all together bring drop and scratchproof protection, and absorption of impact.

According to OtterBox words, the case is based on the first generation iPhone Defender but it provides an improved screen and better fit and feel. The Defender measures 4.87 x 2.77 x 0.8 inches and weighs 1.9 ounces. OtterBox offers this case in black color for $49.95 but you may want to wait for white, black/yellow or pink variants which comming soon.
