AVING reports: “Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced that they developed world’s first 8M CMOS camera module for a cellphone. Featuring a CMOS sensor, this 8M camera module measures only 10.5 X 11.5 X 9.4mm and supports auto focus, which means that it can still maintain a small form factor similar to the size of current 3M camera phone while offering the performance of 8M camera phone.”
