Samsung officially launches the SPH-M4655 ‘Multi Touch II’ and SCH-M480 (SPH-M4800) ‘Ultra Messaging II’ Smartphones

Samsung already presented these new smartphones a week ago, but it seems that they release them officially right now. The SCH-M480 ‘Ultra Messaging II’ also presented like ‘BlackJack III’ is Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone supporting viewing MS Word and Excel documents, PowerPoint and PDF files. Easy access is delivered to user thanks to a QWERTY keyboard and touch-screen menu. The SCH-M480 works with HSDPA network and can be connected via WiFi or Bluetooth and accept microSD cards. Multimedia users can enjoy its 2 megapixel camera supporting video calling, MP3/MPEG4, WMV files support and 2.6? touchscreen display with 320×320 pixel. The phone is available for 600,000 won through SK Telecom.

The second model supporting LG Telecom’s OZ 3G services, the SPH-M4655 ‘Multi Touch II’ , is running on Windows Mobile 6 powered by a 624MHz CPU and supports MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint documents and PDF files as well as the previous model. Other features of this phone are Bluetooth, DMB support, 2 megapixel camera, 2.8″ LCD touch-screen, 128MB of RAM and 256MB of ROM, and microSD support. The SPH-M4655 is available for around 500,000 won.
