Sanyo Katana Eclipse to make its debut at Sprint
Sprint today introduced its first multimedia phone combining light effects with advanced speeds, the Sanyo Katana Eclipse. The phone offers an unique lighting effects (up to 40) to specific who calls you or message you. The Eclipse is also equipped with GPS navigation, a web browser, and on-demand TV.
On the back you can locate a 1.3 megapixel camera with 12x zoom and video camcoder. Built-in memory support is for 8GB microSDHC cards (256MB included). Its dimensions are 3.6 x 1.9 x 0.7 inches and weighs about 3.4 oz. The Eclipse has two displays: internal one 2.0” 65K color TFT LCD (176×220) and external one 1.0”.
With this phone you can also access to your email like AOL, Yahoo!, Gmail as well as corporate email. A lithium ion (LiIon) battery which comes with this handset provides up to 4.6 hours continuous talk time. Price and availability of this new device have not been announced yet.
