(SANYO) has chosen Beceem’s BCS200 chipset as the foundation for its entry into the mobile WiMAX (802.16e) handset market. SANYO will use the BCS200 chipset and systems software in the development of a dual-mode CDMA/WiMAX mobile phone with wave 2 functionality.
