Sprint to introduce the BlackBerry Curve 8350i smartphone

BlackBerry is out to bring more smartphones to compete with the market and that is why we are hearing more stories of smartphones from RIM. Sprint and RIM have today announced plans to deliver the BlackBerry Curve 8350i - the newest Nextel Direct Connect-capable BlackBerry smartphone. The device will be available at the end of 2008.

BlackBerry Curve 8350i will feature an integrated GPS capabilities, a 2 megapixel digital camera with 5x zoom, preloaded software Documents to Go by DataViz, Advanced Media Player, internal antenna, speakerphone - optimized for exceptional sound quality with Direct Connect. Curve 8350i will have QWERTY keyboard, a 65,000-color 320×240 pixel resolution display, and a 1,400mAh lithium-ion battery. We think that this phone is slightly bigger model than its previous Curve models.

BlackBerry Curve 8350i will utilize iDEN technology which Sprint customers will be able to connect to push-to-talk community of millions users within the US and in other eligible countries like Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru. BlackBerry Curve 8350i will be the first BlackBerry smartphone from Sprint to offer Group Connect which will allow users to instantly set up group conversations with up to 20 other participants.

I got my new Blackberry Curve a couple of weeks ago and I love it.
It’s head & shoulders better than the older offerings.
