Yahoo! and LG announced a deal earlier this week from 3GSM in Barcelona wherein LG will bundle Yahoo! services on selected handsets in its range. Under the terms of the deal, Yahoo! Go for Mobile will be pre-installed on limited handsets shipping to over 70 countries.

Yahoo! has previously made similar deals with handset manufacturers Nokia and Motorola, and recently made news by announcing Yahoo! Go for Mobile 2.0 Beta, which includes the company’s new OneSearch technology. Yahoo! Go for Mobile allows easy access to Yahoo! search, email, and other services.

LG handsets with Yahoo! services pre-installed are expected to begin shipping toward the end of 2007. Yahoo! has also publically released Yahoo! Go for Mobile 2.0 Gamma, downloadable from its website.
